Built from the Ground Up
Over 25 years ago, Frank Radisich looked at the New Zealand lubricant market and asked a simple question: why does New Zealand import all its oil when we could make it better ourselves?
That question led to the creation of Aegis Oil, built from the ground up at a facility in Turua, deep in the Waikato heartland. Frank's vision was clear: blend premium lubricants locally, package them here, and sell them at honest prices without the import markups that plagued the market.
What started as a small operation has grown into New Zealand's only oil company that handles the entire process on home soil. Every drop of Aegis Oil is formulated, blended, tested, and packaged at our Turua facility before being shipped nationwide.

A Champion at the Helm
Paul Radisich is not your typical oil company director. As a two-time FIA World Touring Car Champion, Paul has spent decades pushing engines to their limits on circuits around the globe. He knows what lubricants need to deliver when the stakes are highest.
That racing pedigree flows through every Aegis product. Paul's hands-on approach means the same attention to detail that won world championships now goes into formulating oils for Kiwi farmers, mechanics, truckers, and boaties.
Under Paul's leadership, Aegis Oil has expanded its range to over 150 products while maintaining the quality standards that only someone with world-class motorsport experience would demand.
